New Scholarship–Free Tuition and Fees for Pell-eligible students!

Per our Salem College Promise scholarship, you can receive free tuition and fees, if you’re: 

  • A North Carolina resident
  • An incoming traditional age student
  • Pell-eligible, with an Estimated Family Contribution of $0-$5,000 (per FAFSA)

Academic Scholarship

Incoming first-year students with the following academic credentials will receive a half-tuition scholarship: 

  • GPA of 3.25 or higher

Transfer Scholarships

Transfer students with a GPA of 3.25 or higher are eligible to receive a $12,000 scholarship.

Davis Art Scholarship

Students interested in majoring in Studio Art, Interior Design or Art History are encouraged to apply for the Dr. John Preston Davis Art Scholarship.  The Davis Scholarship is a full tuition scholarship, which is renewable annually with a 3.0 GPA. Application Deadline: January 30, 2020.

Outside Scholarships

There are many outside scholarships for which students can apply. When applying for outside scholarships, remember:

  • you should not have to pay an application fee
  • be thorough
  • apply early!
