After Jackie Hogg studied environmental studies and vocal performance at Salem, she was admitted to Shenandoah Conservatory to pursue an MM in voice performance.
At Salem College you’ll be part of a community of innovators. In 1772 Salem College was founded on the revolutionary idea that women deserve the same education as men. Today that idea continues to provide a foundation for success for our students. Our graduates are leaders in their fields: from becoming chief operating officers at major corporations to getting admitted to top graduate schools and pursuing research, our alumnae are changing the world around them. Today, you become one of us.
To begin the application process you’ll want to start by completing an application. You can apply using the Salem Application or via The Common Application. North Carolina residents may apply using the CFNC website as well. You’ll also want to be sure to send us your high school transcripts and SAT or ACT test scores. At Salem College we believe that you’ll be more than just a student on our campus. We evaluate your application based on who you are outside of the classroom including your passions and extracurriculars in addition to your academic work.
You’ll also want to schedule a campus visit. The Office of Admissions is open Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 5:00PM. Campus visits may be scheduled 10AM or 2PM Monday through Friday and at 10AM on Saturday mornings.
Give us a call to schedule your visit at 1-800-327-2536 or Schedule a Visit online. We look forward to seeing you!
