As an alumna, you are forever connected to the Salem College community. You’ll always have a home here, and we hope that you’ll pay us a visit from time to time, whether it be during Reunion Weekend, at an Alumnae Event, or just for an impromptu social call.
As an alumna of Salem College, you of course have access to our ever-growing network of highly motivated and successful women. And although Salem alumnae have chosen many paths, they share many common ties — the integrity of adhering to a cherished honor code, an excellent education received from caring and talented faculty, memories of being a part of Moravian traditions, and of course, that special bond we sometimes call “sisterhood,” the feeling that unites generations of Salem women.
Make sure to take advantage of the following services and resources as an alumna of Salem College:
Our alumnae network spans forty-nine states, two US territories, and at least thirty-three foreign countries, and wherever our more than 9,000 Salem graduates go, we know they contribute greatly to the communities in which they live. Our community needs help, too.
We like to think we played a role in your success — even if only a small one — and hope you see it that way, too. When you are in a position to give back to the Salem community, we trust that you will find joy in the knowledge that you are helping to give other young women the opportunity to experience the same wonderful education that you received as a Salem College student. For information on how best to give, please visit our dedicated giving page or call 336-721-2607.
Another way you can give back to the Salem community is by helping to expand the Salem alumnae network by teaming up with the Admissions office to recruit future Salem Sisters. All alumnae are invited to volunteer as Alumnae Admissions Representatives (AARs), nominate students for the Alumnae Referral Scholarship, or request for us to send a current high school student more information about the college. For more information about these programs, call 336-917-5570.
Remember that Salem College will always be a resource for you if you need us. We encourage you to keep us informed of your latest successes and recent developments so that we can share them with your sisters and the greater Salem College alumnae network. Should you have any questions or require assistance, please contact the Alumnae Relations Office at 336-721-2608. You can also email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. And don’t forget to become a “fan” of the Salem College Alumnae Association Facebook page!
Salem College is proud of its highly successful and influential alumnae in Winston-Salem, NC, and all around the world.
