- I am a certified Courage & Renewal® facilitator prepared by the Center for Courage & Renewal and currently co-facilitate Circle of Trust© gatherings for individuals working in higher education and nonprofit organizations.
- My community leadership experiences include serving in the following roles: Partnership Director, The Forsyth Promise (a cradle to career education partnership); Senior Director of Education Strategies and Engagement, United Way of Forsyth County; Director of the Empowering Effective Teachers Initiative, United Way of Forsyth County; Associate Organizer, Communities Helping All Neighbors Gain Empowerment (CHANGE); and Coordinator of the Domestic Violence Community Council at Family Services, Inc.

- I collect vintage hats and live in a purple house with my beloved, John, and our two enthusiastic pups, Henry and Frances.
