My research centers on inclusive policies for marginalized groups. In this research, I consider a range of policy impacts on individual lives including the influence that policy has on reproductive health, transgender access to health care and poverty among single parents.
Salem Through My Eyes
Salem is a place where you feel immediately welcomed into the community. When someone asks you how you are doing, they really want to know, and they really care about your well-being. There is a deep commitment at Salem to creating a supportive space, where everyone is safe to curiously engage with topics across academic disciplines.

- Besides being a professor, my other dream job would be working for a news organization, calling the elections on election night and showing viewers the breakdown of the election results precinct by precinct.
