From the perspective of teacher education, a significant health-related focus is social and emotional learning. I have provided state-wide training in SEL to district leaders across North Carolina.
Salem Through My Eyes
The close-knit community at Salem made me feel at home as soon as I came here. One of my favorite things are the traditions, such as Opening Convocation, Back Porch parties, and the beautiful graduation ceremony on the May Dell.
Fun Facts
- I love live music, especially in the summer when I can spend time at outdoor concert venues.
- I also love water sports like wakeboarding and paddling my SUP.
- Reading young adult fiction is my favorite way to relax.
