At Salem, we believe that supporting our campus culture and exuding care is essential to our mission of developing the next generation of leaders who will make the world a better, healthier, and more equitable place.
We are committed to creating a community where everyone feels welcome, valued, and respected. Our team is responsible for developing and implementing programming that promotes a culture and sense of care that values and supports our unique campus culture for all students, faculty, and staff.
What we offer:
- Opportunities for students to connect and engage with each other through educational and culturally enriching programming experiences.
- Educational workshops for students, faculty and staff that foster cultural competence, empathy, and communication and contribute to campus culture and care.
- Individual support and mentorship for students.
- Consultation and thought partnership for individuals, student organizations and departments to foster equitable policy and inclusive practice.
- Provide a space for all students, faculty, and staff to connect, gather, and host events
