Project Event Worker

Under the general direction of the Executive Director of Operations, as an essential employee, the Project/Event Worker will be assigned to one of the three departments within Operations (Grounds, Custodial, and Maintenance) as needed. While assigned to a department, the Project/Event Worker will answer the supervisor of each respective department while performing assigned work. Once assigned, the Project/Event Worker will commonly provide routine grounds maintenance, custodial, and maintenance functions and any other duties assigned. Project/Event Worker must be physically able to perform tasks appropriately.

Limited Term Custodian

Under the general direction of the Executive Director of Operations, as an essential employee, the Limited Term Custodian reports directly to the Assistant Director of Facilities.  Custodians commonly provide routine cleaning, project cleaning, setups for functions, and any other duties assigned. Custodians must be physically able to perform tasks appropriately.

Head Cheerleading Coach

Salem College seeks an energetic, strategic, and student-centered professional to serve as Head Cheerleading Coach. This part-time position is responsible for building and leading a competitive cheer program that supports the College’s athletic teams, enhances school spirit, and prepares for intercollegiate cheer competition beginning in the 2027–2028 season.

The Head Cheerleading Coach will oversee all aspects of the program, including recruiting, roster management, academic success, skill development, and campus engagement.

College – Director of Campus and Residential Accountability, Community, and Support

The Director of Campus and Residential Accountability, Community, and Support is a live-in, full-time, 12-month position that serves as a senior member of the Residence Life leadership team and the second-in-command to the Executive Director of Residence Life. The position reports directly to the Executive Director of Residential Life with a dotted line to the Dean of Students for conduct matters. 

This position plays a pivotal role in fostering a safe, inclusive, and accountable campus community that supports students’ academic and personal success. The Director oversees the College’s student conduct system, advises the Judicial and Honor Councils, and coordinates campus-wide education around the Honor Code and community standards. In addition, the Director provides case management for students of concern, leads crisis response efforts, and works collaboratively across campus to ensure holistic student support.

In partnership with the Executive Director, the Director helps shape the strategic direction, policies, and professional development initiatives for the Office of Residence Life. This role provides day-to-day supervision to residence life staff, assumes leadership of departmental operations in the Executive Director’s absence, and contributes to advancing the mission and values of Salem College.

Director of Sports Information, Communication, and Marketing

Salem College seeks a creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized professional to serve as Director of Sports Information, Communications & Marketing. This position is responsible for leading all aspects of athletic communications, including statistical reporting, game day operations, digital media, branding, and storytelling.

The Director will play a critical role in enhancing the visibility and reputation of Salem College Athletics by delivering accurate and timely information, producing high-quality content, and developing a cohesive brand across all platforms. This individual must be able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while building strong collaborative relationships across campus, particularly with the College’s Communications and Marketing department, Academy Athletics and external partners.

College - Volunteer Assistant Soccer Coach

Salem College seeks a highly motivated and team-oriented individual to serve as a Volunteer Assistant Soccer Coach. This position supports all aspects of the women’s soccer program, including student-athlete development, practice planning, recruiting support, and game-day operations. The ideal candidate is committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and competitive environment aligned with the mission and values of Salem College.

Associate Athletic Director

Salem Academy & College seeks a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and mission-driven professional to serve as Associate Athletic Director. This position plays a key leadership role in advancing the strategic vision of Salem Athletics through revenue generation, operational excellence, facility oversight, and brand visibility. The Associate Athletic Director will collaborate across Academy and College programs to enhance the student-athlete experience while strengthening community engagement and institutional growth.

This is a highly visible leadership role requiring initiative, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Public Safety Officer - Part-Time

The Public Safety Officer – part time is an essential employee who reports directly to the Director of Public Safety and will be responsible for all security activities involving campus patrol, requests for service, opening/closing of facilities, responding to emergency calls, parking requests, and monitoring, and all other duties as assigned.
