The Salem Signature Leadership Program is a new, four-year comprehensive leadership program for traditional-age students that celebrates women as leaders and provides students with opportunities to distinguish their college experience. Salem students may choose from a variety of personal and professional leadership development programs to enhance their abilities and develop their unique potential as a leader.
Made possible by a generous $250,000 grant from BB & T, the Salem Signature Leadership Program features class retreats, workshops, conferences, speakers, panel discussions, and community outreach programs. In addition, students have the opportunity to apply their leadership skills as officers of more than 30 campus clubs and organizations and the student government association.
The Salem Signature Leadership Program is a comprehensive leadership development program that features opportunities for traditional students to participate in training, seminars, and workshops along with their classmates throughout their time at Salem. Students will have the opportunity every year to participate in leadership training programs designed for their particular graduating class. Seminars and workshops will focus on topics that complement students' growth and development. Students from other class year cohorts will be invited to participate in these programs as space permits.
