Yoga Classes

Check your email for times/locations in Spring

 Angela Gallagher will instruct students Thursday afternoon 4:30p.m. – 5:30p.m. in the Little Chapel.  Yoga can provide college students with many benefits such as stress relief, emotional wellness, flexibility, improved strength, reduction in fatigue, enhancement of the immune system, improved balance and weight management.  Those are good things!  Plus, yoga is easy for anyone to practice and previous experience is not necessary

Fitness Fridays

Every Friday 3pm - Main Hall  

The Salem College Student Affairs staff promotes students' development of healthy, active lifestyles by sponsoring “Fitness Fridays” to kick off your weekend! Students are encouraged to wear workout clothes every Friday and participate in the Dean's Walk in Old Salem which departs from Main Hall at 3:00 p.m. Games, prizes and other activities will follow the walk and vary weekly. 

Go Ride a Bike

What a wonderful way to enjoy Old Salem.  Students may check out bikes from the Dean of Students Office.

BOB “Body Opponent Bag” Punching Dummy

BOB will be located in Bryant Hall and students may check out gloves in the Athletics department.  BOB is a great resource for physical fitness and stress relief.
