Public health officials have determined that daily symptom monitoring aids in identifying and preventing the spread of COVID-19. Salem will require employees reporting to campus during the virtual learning period to participate in an ongoing health screening process to support self-monitoring of COVID-19 symptoms and exposure, to identify the need for testing and quarantine or isolation, and to reduce the spread of COVID-19. During Spring Semester 2021, employees reporting to campus must complete the COVID-19 screening using the Campus Clear application. For questions or additional information, please contact Human Resources. Employees may also refer to the Daily COVID-19 Screening Checklist.
During the virtual learning period, Salem will not test employees reporting to campus for the COVID-19 virus. Employees who are exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms or who have had exposure should not report to campus as scheduled and are encouraged to be tested and must notify the Office of Human Resources for further instruction.
