Orientation for Traditional Students
New Student Orientation at Salem College is required for all new traditional-aged students (residential students, commuter students, first-time students, and transfer students.) For Fall 2020, orientation for traditional students will be conducted virtually August 24 – August 25, 2020.
Traditional students will receive additional information from the Assistant Dean of Students in the coming weeks regarding the orientation process and programming details and times.
Orientation for Fleer Students
The Martha H. Fleer Center for Adult Education will host a virtual Fall 2020 Orientation for adult students on Saturday, August 22, 2020. Please refer to the Fleer Center Orientation Information for additional details.
Orientation for Graduate Students
For the graduate Education students, the College is hosting separate orientation sessions for each graduate program. All orientation sessions will be virtual, and students will receive an email with more detailed information and links to participate. Orientation for graduate students will take place during the following dates and times:
- MAT – August 6, 2020 at 5:00 pm
- MEd in Educational Leadership – August 5, 2020 at 5:00 pm
- MEd in School Counseling – August 8, 2020 at 10:000 am
Orientation details for graduate Music students from the School of Music will be forthcoming and made available on the Salem Ready, Salem Strong site when plans are finalized.
