Niah White is a Licensed mental health clinician practicing in the state of North Carolina and South Carolina with a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Niah’s professional experience spans over 8 years, as she has worked with children and families in a variety of diverse settings including the for profit mental health sector, non profit sector, and as a consultant for a non-profit agencies. Niah’s professional and research center around vicarious trauma, counselor efficacy and training, trauma responses across special populations i.e. racial/ethnic disparities, trauma informed care systems, and help seeking behaviors within marginalized communities.
