Meredith Robbins joined the Department of Teacher Education and Graduate Studies in 2019. Prior to that, she worked in banking for thirteen years, ten of which were at BB&T. During that time she attended their Leadership Development Program, worked in customer service, retail and small business lending, mortgage lending, and management.
While working in the financial industry, she decided to change career gears, and went back to school to obtain her master’s degree in school counseling. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2015, she went on to work at Methodist University in career services. She has also worked as a leadership development consultant at Chick-fil-A. Among her credentials, she is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate.
