Chris Simon has been a faculty member at the University of Iowa and joins Salem most recently from Duke University, where he was a faculty member in the Trent Center for Bioethics. There, he led a university-wide initiative to redesign and roll out a program in the responsible conduct of research. Simon holds a doctoral degree in medical anthropology and has post-doctoral training in applied bioethics. His work contributes to Salem’s focus on ethics and strengthens health leadership ethics in the humanities, arts, and sciences.
