Salem College students have enjoyed self-scheduled final exams for more than forty years.

Kelly Bouldin Darmofal C’00 has published Lost in My Mind: Recovering from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) to generate awareness and understanding regarding TBI and to elevate the need for training specifically for TBI within the educational community. Her book was released at a special event, hosted by Salem College, on December 11, 2014.

Salem College is the first educational institution in Forsyth County to become a member of the Food Recovery Network.

Margaret Mueller, Professor Emerita of Salem College, celebrated her 90th birthday on campus with friends from the Salem College School of Music.

Dr. Sydney Richardson will become the dean of the Martha H. Fleer Center for Adult Education on January 1, 2015.

Patricia Hall, a student in Salem's Martha H. Fleer Center for Adult Education, has been nominated for awards from the Black Women in Jazz & the Arts.
