Inspirational quote:

“To teach without zest is a crime.”

—Virginia Woolf

Advice for students:

Teaching is a demanding profession, but it is incredibly rewarding. I suggest that all prospective teachers take advantage of their early field experiences in the school. These learning experiences allow them to see different teachers in a variety of school settings. It is important that someone considering teaching learn all that she can about the profession and about the different facets of a teacher’s job.
