Reunion Weekend 2018 will welcome the following classes:

2017, 2013, 2008, 2003, 1998, 1993, 1988, 1983, 1978, 1973, 1968, 1963, 1958, 1953, 1948, 1943, 1938

Mary Jacobsen

Dr. Mary Jacobson is originally from Minneapolis, MN, and she was drawn to Salem because it offered the unique opportunity to teach at a women's college in her area of expertise. 

She has published several works such as The Gifted Adult, 2000 (Ballantine); The Brat Stops Here, 2005 (St. Martin’s Press); and a chapter in: Gifted Minds and Morality (Ambrose and Cross, Eds.), 2009 (Springer Science).

Colleges of Distinction

Salem College was one of only four North Carolina colleges that ranked in every category in College of Distinction’s Innovative Learning Programs.
