Three Salem College faculty members are joining more than 60 female writers, playwrights, dancers, choreographers, filmmakers, musicians and craftswomen for the inaugural Ruby Slipper Fringe Festival in downtown Winston-Salem.
The Salem College Debate Team advanced to the semi-final round as one of four colleges with the most wins at North Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities’ fifth annual Ethics Bowl held February 5 and 6 in Raleigh.
In honor of the 30th annual National Girls & Women in Sports Day, female athletes of all ages and abilities will be recognized during half-time of the Salem College vs. Mary Baldwin College basketball game at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9 at the Salem Academy and College Gymnasium.
