Salem Academy, Salem College, and the Martha H. Fleer Center for Adult Education invite prospective students and their families to learn about Salem’s enriching educational experiences at a series of open house events throughout the month of October. School-specific programs have been created to provide a comprehensive overview of the unique opportunities available for high school, collegiate and adult students.
All open houses will include a chance to hear from a variety of representatives who will provide insights and information on Salem. Scheduled presenters include Salem Academy’s head of school, representatives from the admissions department, current and former students, the athletic department, the financial aid department, the fine arts department and the academic support team. Attendees at all in-person open houses will have an opportunity to tour the campus.
Salem Academy welcomes prospective students on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 2 p.m. for an on-campus immersion experience. The event will showcase the educational, leadership, fine arts and athletic opportunities afforded by the storied institution.

Salem College invites prospective college students for an in-person, on-campus experience on Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. The event will include a campus tour, mini classes taught by Salem faculty and panel discussions on student life, athletics, financial aid and student success in college. This event will allow students to truly Explore Salem, America’s No. 1 liberal arts college for social mobility, and Salem’s competitive position as the nation’s only liberal arts college that prepares every student to become a leader with a health focus.

For adult students ages 23 and up The Fleer Center offers a challenging and collaborative environment to continue educational pursuits, whether it is to complete a degree, start a new one, or earn additional credits prior to graduate school. The Fleer Center has three opportunities to learn more about the program. In-person and on-campus events will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 6 p.m. and on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 2 p.m. For those that wish to attend virtually, there will be an online information session on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 6 p.m.
