Dr. Sonja Sepulveda, director of Choral Activities at Salem College, was chosen by the American Choral Director’s Association to perform at the South Carolina ACDA Conference on October 5 at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Charleston, South Carolina.

Members of Salem College Choirs will participate in the Palmetto Voices as they sing a concert of spirituals. The Palmetto Voices consists of current and past choral students of Dr. Sepulveda and promotes the legacy of the American Spiritual.

Singing for ACDA is regarded as one of the highest honors in the field of choral music, according to Timothy Olsen, Associate Director of the Salem College School of Music.
