Dear Salem community,

In the wake of what has been one of the most divided elections in United States history, Salem’s student body has expressed a variety of emotions. Your student government would like you to know that your emotions and concerns are valid.

We ask that all students respect each other during this divisive period. We urge students to take advantage of our counseling, chaplain’s office, office of diversity and inclusiveness, residence life, or any of the other resources available to students.

We want you to know that we as your Student Government Association are here for you as an additional resource should you need to talk to someone. Salem College Student Government Association reaffirms our commitment to our mission of inclusiveness.
