Dr. Lorraine Sterritt, president of Salem Academy and College, is one of the Triad’s Most Influential People, according to the Triad Business Journal. 

This is the twelfth year the Triad Business Journal has recognized individuals whom the publication's editors call the area’s "pivotal players." 

"These individuals are leaders who, in addition to their day jobs, are committed to helping the Triad region thrive," said Ollie Chandhok, publisher of the Triad Business Journal.

A special section of the magazine highlighting the accomplishments of this year’s Most Influential People was published on November 6, 2015.

"I am honored to be included on the Triad Business Journal's list,” said Dr. Sterritt. "However, the real credit should go to the talented and dedicated people with whom I work at Salem Academy and College, including our faculty and staff, our alumnae, our Board of Trustees and Board of Visitors, and our students."

A reception was held for the honorees at High Point University on November 5, 2015. That reception followed a special program during which several business leaders from the Piedmont Triad Partnership presented their "State of the Region" addresses.
