The Salem College International Club will host its annual International Dinner and Show to celebrate Salem’s diverse international culture on November 7, 2015, at 7:30 pm in Corrin Refectory.

The dinner portion of the event consists of a special multicultural feast prepared by Aramark, and the show includes varied performances by students and community members, including poetry readings and storytelling, a fashion runway, dancing, monologues, skits, step routines, and more.

Salem students organize the event, and this year marks the first year that other student groups on campus are participating. The International Club is also welcoming other college students from the community to become involved.

“We expect bigger student contributions than ever before,” says Amanda Jones C’17, who serves as the club’s event coordinator.

The Salem College International Club fosters the interests of Salem students in international affairs, foreign culture, and study abroad. It recognizes the contributions of international students to the Salem community and provides cultural and academic events of an international nature.

The price of a ticket for the International Dinner and Show is $12 for adults, $8 for children ages six through eight, and free for children five years old and younger. Tickets may be purchased online here, or at the door.
