The Salem College basketball team defeated Washington & Lee 62-53 for their 16th straight victory of the season. Jasmine Shabazz (Buffalo, NY) continued her dominant play over the last several games with 21 points and 15 rebounds to spark the Spirits. Bianca Ritchwood (Columbia, SC) exploded on offense with 17 points. Satavia Taylor (Chicago, IL) finished with 11 points, and had a very strong defensive effort with 16 boards and 6 blocks. Zy Henderson (Spartanburg, SC) led the Spirits with 6 steals and 4 assists.
