Monica Boyd C'98 joined the Salem College Office of Student Affairs as the Director of Student Professional Development.
Boyd comes to Salem from the Office of Career Development Services at Winston-Salem State University, where she has worked for 11 years, most recently in the capacity of assistant director. Boyd is a 1998 graduate of Salem College, earning a B.A. in communication. She also holds an M.A. in adult education and training from Strayer University.
Boyd will oversee all career and professional development programs, including coordination of the new iLEAD four-year comprehensive leadership development program for traditional-age students. Her duties also will include management of the employment, internship and graduate school transition process for international students attending Salem.
