Salem College celebrates the Earth this weekend at the 6th Annual Piedmont Earth Day Fair, April 16, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., at the Dixie Classic Fairgrounds in Winston-Salem. The fair features informative booths on a wide range of environmental topics, sustainable solutions, and local initiatives, as well as live music, food and more. Salem will have a booth featuring members of Salem Environmental Concerns Organization (ECO), as well as faculty and staff members, plus information highlighting campus sustainability efforts, such as our green dining practices. In adddition, the booth will have a hydration station, featuring naturally flavored water served in Salem's refectory. Admission and parking for the event are free.
