As a Salem student, you can distinguish your college experience by participating in Leadership Salem, a comprehensive three-tiered women’s leadership and professional development program.
Success @ Salem is a year-long leadership program, specifically designed for all First Year students to assist with the transition to college life.
iLEAD provides you with opportunities to develop the knowledge, awareness, and skills to reach your highest potential in this global and digital century and to attain the qualities that 21st-century employers value most. This program is open to all students, and upon completion, you will earn the 1772 Society designation.
Through the support, partnership, and generosity of BB&T, the BB&T Emerging Leaders Certification is based on the model that beliefs drive behaviors - which in turn produce results. These highly interactive sessions give students a better understanding of their individual leadership style and how they can lead others more effectively. Students are given the opportunity to identify their signature strengths, leadership preferences, and ultimately articulate their leadership purpose. Upon completion of the certification, students will leave with practical tools and strategies that they can use immediately as a leader.
