Three major funds have been established to benefit students of the Salem College School of Music. A gift to any of these funds entitles the donor to become a Friend of the School of Music.
The Mueller Scholarship Fund is an endowed scholarship established by the Friends of the School of Music in 1995. The scholarship is awarded to an outstanding music student (with preference given to an organ student) who has demonstrated exceptional talent, ability and promise in musical performance, either through an audition or faculty recommendation. This scholarship may be renewed annually based upon the recipient's continued success.
The Clemens and Margaret Vardell Sandresky Scholarship Fund is an endowed scholarship established by the Friends of the School of Music in 1990. The scholarship is awarded to an outstanding music student who demonstrates exceptional talent, ability and promise in music performance, through an audition or faculty recommendation. This scholarship may be renewed annually, based upon the recipient's continued success.
The scholarship is awarded to an outstanding vocal performance major who demonstrates exceptional talent, ability and promise in performance, through an audition or faculty recommendation.
