The Salem College Founders Fellowship program will give you the tools early in your college experience to map out a course that will lead to a successful transition from college to professional life whether that be graduate work or a professional career.
Membership in the 4-year program will include the following:
Additional scholarship aid ($1000 per academic year)
Mentoring from alumnae and upperclass fellows
Special programming to include internship information sessions, as well as career and professional development
Networking opportunities to include meals and seminars with Cabinet and Deans, Alumnae Board, Board of Visitors, and the President of the College
First year January Term to include sessions on career inventory/analysis, alumnae presentations about liberal arts
First year field trip to the Innovation Quarter
The Founders Fellowship Program is a planned series of academic and career advising and mentoring events throughout your four years at Salem. A collaboration between the Office of Admissions and Academic Affairs, the program will be overseen by Shari White Dallas C’83 and will be housed in the office of the Dean of the College.
The qualifications of this year’s applicants set high standards in all areas in which they were evaluated, and your selection as a Fellowship member places you among an exceptionally talented group of students.
