The Salem College department of business and economics sometimes has need for part-time instructors who will teach primarily in the evening course schedule. We invite applications for qualified instructors to teach traditional “seated” courses in economics or in business, including international marketing, finance, accounting, and health care management (not online courses).
Minimum qualifications for part-time instructors at Salem College are a doctoral or master’s degree in the teaching discipline or a master’s degree with a concentration (minimum of 18 graduate semester hours) in the teaching discipline. A terminal degree is preferred, and degrees must be from accredited institutions. Significant business experience may substitute for academic credentials in some cases. If your qualifications meet the needs of the business and economics department for the fall and/or spring semesters, you will be contacted to discuss proposed teaching opportunities. Needs change from semester to semester. Please e-mail your letter of interest and résumé or curriculum vitae to Dr. Eve Rapp, department chair, at firstname.lastname@example.org and be sure to include the words “B&E Adjunct Faculty Applicant-Business” and your last name in the subject line of your e-mail. Salem College is an equal opportunity employer and encourages women and underrepresented minorities to apply.
