Now that you are accepted, it is time to take the next steps. Here are some important dates to remember:

As soon as possible

May Deadlines

  • Secure your place in the class. Submit your non-refundable $250 deposit by May 1. Two options are avaliable to you:
  1. Pay online. (Make sure to forward a copy of your payment confirmation email to admissions@salem.edu.) OR
  2. Send a $250 check, payable to “Salem College,” to the following address: Salem College; Business Office-Lehman Hall; 601 S. Church Street; Winston-Salem, NC 27101 USA

June Deadlines

July Deadlines

  • Send Final High School Transcript, AP Scores, and Dual Enrollment College Transcripts by July 1. *Please note that your offer of admission is provisional pending receipt of your final transcript showing date of graduation. Offers of admission and financial aid may be rescinded if a final transcript is not received.
  • Submit New Student Information form by July 1.
  • Schedule a Physical before July; Return Health Information form by July 1. *North Carolina law requires that all students submit a completed health form prior to the start of classes.
  • Register your vehicle and pay $60 annual parking fee online beginning July 1.

August Deadlines

  • Fall tuition/fees statement should be paid by August 1. (The College offers a monthly installment plan each semester. While there are no interest charges, a $50 per semester application fee is required. Additional information about the installment plan will be sent in mid-May to all incoming students who have paid the $250 enrollment deposit.)
  • Take the Spiritual Life Survey.
