Student Life at Salem is ACTIVE!

From day one, your involvement and ideas are important. There are so many ways to get involved in social, cultural, and service organizations and events. Popular events take place every weekend and include concerts, shows, dances, and movie screenings.

In addition, the Campus Activities Board hosts four large-scale events a year:

            Fall Lawn Party (September)
            Semi-Formal (November)
            Formal (February)
            Spring Cocktail (April)

Winston-Salem Highlights:

A five-minute walk takes you into downtown Winston-Salem. Known as the “City of the Arts and Innovation,” Winston-Salem is an exciting hub of culture, business, and biotechnology. Choose from more than 60 clubs and restaurants and a variety of 70 shops and galleries. Go to the Gallery Hops. See an independent film at a/perture cinema. Join the “College Night” crowd at the Dash baseball stadium. It’s a great place to meet people!
