“I came to Salem planning to be a CPA, but while I pursued my accounting degree I discovered I am capable of so much more. With my academic advisor’s encouragement I have explored all of my interests including:
• a summer study abroad program at Oxford in Emerging Global Leadership
• a January Term independent study in Prague researching the emerging
Eastern European economy
• a volunteer position with Forsyth Working Families filing tax returns for low income families.
My horizon keeps expanding as each new experience teaches me to dream bigger.”
