Areas of Distinction

Special academic opportunities take place far beyond the walls of the classroom at Salem. Students are exposed to a world of special programs that enhance their Salem experience and education. They can choose from a long list of Pre-Professional Programs based on their interests: Pre-Medical, Pre-Law, Pre-Engineering, or a major in Medical Technology. Salem College has entered into a formal agreement with St. Peter's College, University of Oxford, England, to establish a summer study program. Students may plan a course of study abroad for one or two terms of the junior year or in the summer. You might spend a semester in Washington, D.C. or the United Nations. All Salem students complete valuable internships throughout the United States and around the globe.
