All students are assigned firstname.lastname@example.org email accounts and passwords upon enrollment. Traditional freshmen receive their email account information in a letter mailed to their home address. Fleer Center students receive a letter in their campus mailbox. Access is from Salem's Google login page: Salem Email. All students are required to check their Salem email accounts for important information. Each dorm room has two network connections and WiFi access for personal student computers. Each student has unlimited cloud storage via the Google Drive app for Salem's Google Apps for Education accounts.
Salem faculty can use the Salem network to publish web sites that support their teaching activities through traditional HTML publishing, Google Apps for Education (Google Sites), or through Salem Moodle - a web-based course management system (CMS).
