- First, you must have a My CFNC account.
- If you already have a My CFNC account, login to your account and choose "Edit Profile". Then click, "The Basics", choose edit in the right hand corner, then enter your social security number. After entering this information, click "Save" at the bottom. After editing your account, return to this page and complete the residency form.
- If you do not have a My CFNC account, create one here. After creating your account, login to

- Second, after completing your login information, you are ready to complete the residency form for the NC Need-Based Scholarship. After you login, click "Apply for Scholarships and Financial Aid". You will then see a link for "The North Carolina Need-Based Scholarship Residency Questionnaire". Please answer all questions carefully. If you experience any difficulties completing the application after you
login, please email srinehart@ncseaa.edu. Please note: If you did not have to submit parent information on the FAFSA, you do not have to put your parent's address on this form.
