The story begins when an
obsessive musical theatre fan plays his favorite musical theatre record, a show
from the late 1920s called The Drowsy
Chaperone. The musical then comes to
life right in his own living room. He
proceeds to guide us through this story, commenting on it and the characters
and even occasionally finding himself involved in the action. Music and Lyrics
by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison; book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar.
Admission by ticket only: $10 for general admission, $8 for Salem faculty, staff and students. Tickets will be available at the door and reservations may be made beginning February 15th by emailing culturalevents@salem.edu or calling 336/917-5493. Reservations are not required.
