Flute Phenomenon Leone Buyse Joined by Barbara Lister-Sink, piano, and Debra Reuter-Pivetta, flute

Performance: Sunday, November 17, at 7:30 p.m. Flute Master Class with Leone Buyse: Monday, November 18, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. World-renowned flutist and teacher Leone Buyse returns to perform with her long-time friend, pianist Barbara Lister-Sink, and Salem’s own Debra Reuter-Pivetta. Buyse, former acting principle flutist for the Boston Symphony Orchestra, is highly sought after for recitals, concerti and leading music festivals throughout the world. Recognized as one of America’s foremost flute pedagogues, she is currently Mullen Professor of Flute at Rice University, and also has taught at the University of Michigan, New England Conservatory, Boston University, and the Tanglewood Music Center, among others. In 2010, Buyse received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Flute Association.
