 nd a Retrospective\n\nWinston-Salem artist Amy Funderburk will exhibit
  new works from her visionary series\, Images From the Otherworld. Thr
 ough these paintings and accompanying photographs\, she depicts her ex
 traordinary experiences at sacred sites in Ireland and South of Englan
 d\, as well as imagery derived from meditation. In these works\, she e
 xplores the role of art\, belief\, and the power of positive thinking 
 on the healing process. A connecting theme that runs throughout the se
 ries is the cycle of creation and destruction\, of death and  rebirth\
 , and the healing that lies between. Visitors may bring either strips 
 of paper or 100% natural cloth to tie to the wishing tree which will 
 be part of the exhibit.
