BOOKMARKS Festival of Books Sep 11, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM Downtown Arts District, Sixth and Trade,
BOOKMARKS brings writers and readers of all ages together as authors, illustrators, storytellers and chefs share their work and insights through readings, presentations, panel discussions, workshops and book-signings. The festival partners with community organizations, reading-related exhibitors and a variety of food vendors. The sixth annual festival will feature more than 40 authors along with creative and interactive activities for children. Andrew Leslie, associate professor of sociology at Salem, will give a workshop on the basics of storytelling. Salem College is a proud supporter of this free public festival.
