Shawn Bowman-Hicks

Shawn Bowman-Hicks received her MFA in Dance from The Ohio State University and her bachelor from Columbia College, SC. She has been a guest artist and on the faculties at several schools including Ohio State, Towson State, Goucher College, Wake Forest, UNCG, and Guangxi Arts College in P.R. of China.  She has had numerous dance works produced and performs regionally. Her faith and family drive her craft where she passionately believes dance is for everyone and encourages people to pursue it in their lives.  She appreciates all the opportunities that Salem College Dance provides to the students and herself in excellence within higher education and personal growth.
