Ho Sang Yoon

Associate Professor, Spanish

Dr. Yoon is Chair of the Department of Modern Languages and Co-Advisor of the International Business program.

His field of specialization is 20th Century Argentinean Literature (science and existentialism) and his interests include the intersections between literature and science, cultural studies, Hispanic films, and language for professions (Business and Medical Spanish). He supports many local organizations like The International Center of Forsyth Tech and Hispanic League and serves as an interpreter in community events and institutions such as the Community Care Center and Forsyth County Public Schools.

He directs language, culture, and international business immersion programs in Cuernavaca, Puebla, and Merida, Mexico as well as in Madrid and Seville, Spain, which takes place during January Term. The programs were created in collaboration with distinguished academic institutions such as Universidad de las Américas and Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán.
