DESCRIPTION:BOOKMARKS brings writers and readers of all ages together 
 as authors\, illustrators\, storytellers and chefs share their work an
 d insights through readings\, presentations\, panel discussions\, work
 shops and book-signings. The festival partners with community organiza
 tions\, reading-related exhibitors and a variety of food vendors. The 
 sixth annual festival will feature more than 40 authors along with cre
 ative and interactive activities for children. Andrew Leslie\, associa
 te professor of sociology at Salem\, will give a workshop on the basic
 s of storytelling. \nSalem College is a proud supporter of this free p
