DESCRIPTION:Marshall Chapman\, a graduate of Salem Academy\, has relea
 sed 10 critically acclaimed albums and her songs have been recorded by
  a variety of artists including Emmylou Harris\, John Hiatt\, Jimmy Bu
 ffett\, Mindy McCready and Crystal Gayle.  She has toured extensively 
 on her own and opened shows for everybody from John Prine and Jimmy Bu
 ffett to Jerry Lee Lewis and The Ramones.  Her first book\, "Goodbye\,
  Little Rock and Roller"\, was one of three finalists for the Southern
  Book Critics Circle Award.  She developed her own one-woman show call
 ed “The Triumph of Rock and Roll over Good Breeding” and contribut
 ed songs to "Good Ol’ Girls"\, a country musical based on the storie
 s of Lee Smith and Jill McCorkle. Chapman’s new book "They Came to N
 ashville" is scheduled to be released in October\, 2010\, and features
  interviews with numerous stars including Kris Kristofferson\, Emmy Lo
 u Harris\, Willie Nelson and Miranda Lambert.  She also just wrapped u
 p her first acting role in the major motion picture "Country Strong"\,
  starring Gwyneth Paltrow and Tim McGraw. Free. \nAfter the performanc
