 music by the "Dean of American Music\," Aaron Copland (1900-1990). Cop
 land’s music evokes the sounds of city life and the vast expansive l
 andscapes of the early pioneers. Popular styles\, such as jazz\, were 
 often incorporated into his compositions.  Included on this program wi
 ll be the "Four Piano Blues\," "The Duo for Flute and Piano" and the e
 ntire set of Old American Songs. Free event.
