 , Eva Luna\, Zorro and Daughter of Fortune. She has also written a col
 lection of stories\, three memoirs and a trilogy of young adult novels
 . Her books have been translated into more than 27 languages and have 
 become bestsellers across four continents. In 2004\, she was inducted 
 into the American Academy of Arts and Letters\, and in 2010\, she was 
 awarded the National Prize for Literature\, Chile's most prestigious l
 iterary award. Allende will be on tour for the hardcover release of Ma
 ya's Notebook\, which will be published in English on April 23. This w
 ill be Allende's only appearance in North Carolina.\n\nAllende’s boo
 ks will be on sale before and after the event\, and a book signing wil
 l follow her presentation. Doors open at 6\:15 p.m. and the program be
