 ng Award\, an NEA grant and a Pushcart Prize. Her fiction and essays h
 ave appeared in journals and anthologies like Orion\, The Georgia Revi
 ew\, Poets and Writers\, and New Stories from the South. Currently\, s
 he teaches in the low-residency MFA program at Pacific Lutheran Univer
