Dr. Thomas Swenson, director of the Salem College Center for Musical Excellence, is a nationally recognized leader in music as an educator, performer, advocate, composer, speaker and producer. Recreational Adult Music Education is a specialty area for which he pursued his doctoral research. He regularly performs and provides workshops throughout the country.
