Welcome to the Center for Musical Excellence at Salem College.  We hope to enrich your life through music in one of our many excellent and innovative programs.  Lessons, classes, and workshops are available throughout the year for children through adults.

Mission

The mission of the Center for Musical Excellence at Salem College (CMESC) is to serve students of all ages, interests and diverse backgrounds by providing excellence in music education. We seek to assist students in realizing their goals and dreams of music-making.

We believe that every person has musical abilities that can be developed. Our programs are geared towards both hobby and professional musicians.

Lastly, we want to contribute to the larger cultural community by providing artistic, educational and recreational programs.
